Due to the dynamics of the chassis the vehicle tends to float a little when changing lanes.
For the weight of this vehicle (4,127 pounds) the brakes are more than adequate to stop at any speed.

Some of the many safety features are: SOS Post crash Alert, dual-stage front airbags, seat-mounted side airbags, safety-belt pretension system, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, rearview camera (when equipped with navigation), perimeter antitheft system, childproof rear door locks, tire pressure monitoring and a securicode entrance keypad.

The MKS has a first class interior, which says luxury. The vehicle is roomy and has plenty of headroom. The interior was well thought out and luxury materials are placed throughout the cabin. The MKS comes standard with high quality leather seats, which, are comfortable and hug your body.
The MKS goes to the head of the class with its technology, which has unprecedented real-time, real-world onboard communications. Based on the Sync voice-activated audio system in the Ford, the MKS is even better with the Next-Generation Navigation System with Sirius Travel Link. This allows you to switch to an array of audio programming!
The huge 8″ display is easy to read and operate and you can even upload personal CD photos on monitor, find all local gas stations, and even play DVD movies My MKS was equipped with the Navigation Package, which adds the navigation, THX II w. 5.1 premium surround-sound audio, and a rearview camera. The navigation system was easy to use and the graphics were the best I’ve seen in the auto industry.
The dash and instruments were well laid out and has easy to read gauges and interior was accented with wood running from one end of the dash to the other.
Large buttons on the center console were easy to access for operating AC/Heat audio systems. The audio system and satellite-radio were exempla nary as far as sound and ease to operate.
